Baby Déarbhla came to visit the P5/6 class on Friday for their 8th Roots of Empathy visit. In this theme we have been talking about who we are as individuals and recognising the different things that make us all unique.
We discussed how we are all good at different things such as reading, football and swimming. (But we always need to remember that these skills come with hard work and perseverance too!)
We learnt that babies develop their skills by copying, experimenting and practising, just like how we learn new things. Déarbhla kept everyone entertained with endearing nature and how she reacted to tasting foods that were new to her.
We can’t believe that next month is our last Roots of Empathy Family visit with Baby Déarbhla and Fiona! 😢
