This week, our P4/5 class welcomed back everyone's favourite Tiny Teacher, baby Ruairí, and his lovely mum, Niamh, for another visit through the Roots of Empathy program. 🍼
The theme was Caring and Planning - and let’s just say, caring for a baby involves a lot more than cuddles and cute outfits (although Ruairí did rock both, as usual 😄). From nappies to nap schedules, our pupils learned just how much love, effort, and organisation it takes to raise a little human!
Watching Ruairí grow and develop each month has helped us understand emotions, responsibility, and the power of kindness. The pupils had thoughtful questions and showed so much care - a true testament to the empathy that's blooming in our classroom! 🌱👦👧
Thank you, Ruairí and Niamh, for helping us grow our hearts and minds. Every visit reminds us that empathy starts small but it grows big! 💚
