On Friday, our Primary 4/5 class had their very first Roots of Empathy visit and what a special day it was! We were delighted to welcome Baby Ruairí and his lovely mummy, Niamh, into our classroom for the first time. 🍼💞
The children were full of excitement to meet Baby Ruairí, our very own “Tiny Teacher.” They asked thoughtful questions and made wonderful observations as they began to explore his unique personality, how he communicates, and how he will grow and change over time. From tiny toes to curious eyes, there was so much to notice and talk about!
This first visit is the beginning of a powerful journey - helping us understand the feelings of others and build empathy through meaningful, real-life connections. 💚
