P3 have been learning all about the special symbols of Baptism - a very important sacrament in the Christian faith. ✝️
As part of our RE lessons, we explored how water, the white garment, the Baptismal candle, and holy oil each represent something meaningful in becoming part of God’s family.
We were very lucky to have some real-life Baptism items in the classroom, which made our learning even more special and memorable! 🕯️👶🕊️ The children asked thoughtful questions, shared their own experiences, and really enjoyed making connections between what they’ve learned and what happens during a Baptism ceremony.
A beautiful, hands-on way to understand the signs of faith and the importance of belonging to the Christian family. ❤️ Well done P3! 🌟
