We were delighted to attend the Microsoft Dream Space Ambassadors & Digital Leaders Celebration Event at W5 Belfast! 🎉💻
This year, some of our Primary 7 pupils volunteered to take part in the Dream Space Ambassador Programme - an all-Ireland leadership initiative designed to develop ICT, STEM and 21st century learning skills.
Throughout the programme, the pupils developed valuable digital and leadership skills while also sharing their learning across the school community. Following their training days, they worked with younger classes to pass on new skills and ideas, and confidently delivered a whole-school assembly to mark Safer Internet Day.
To complete the programme, the children travelled to W5 Belfast where they joined pupils from schools across Ireland for an exciting day of hands-on activities. They explored coding through Minecraft Education, created digital pixel art, tackled strategic board games, enjoyed interactive Xbox challenges and programmed Sphero Indi cars.
The day concluded with a special graduation ceremony where each pupil was proudly presented with their Platinum Award in recognition of their hard work, creativity, leadership and commitment throughout the programme.
We are incredibly proud of everything our pupils have achieved, the enthusiasm they brought to the programme, and the fantastic way they represented our school. A wonderful day of celebration and recognition for all involved - well done everyone! 👏🌟
