Primary 4/5 had a fantastic morning with Inspector Eva Jones, our local Evacuation Officer, as they stepped back in time to experience life during World War 2.
The children received their very own identity cards, learned what to pack in an evacuation suitcase, and practised important air raid safety procedures. They also explored the realities of rationing and even uncovered the secrets of a Pig Club!
We ended the session by singing rousing wartime songs together - what a brilliant and unforgettable experience for everyone involved! 🎶🪖
